Everything was Great! The team showed up as scheduled with all the products needed for the job. They replaced a total heat/air unit , made all necessary changes cleaned up, removed all old units and trash. We couldn't even tell they had been here other than a new unit...WOW! Works 👍 Great! We are extremely satisfied with our service from Coolmax Heating and Air. We have a roof top Trane AC & heater unit and over the summer the fuses kept blowing out in the unit. I called a large company that states on their website site about having work ethics including sound judgement, honesty, dependability and staff of technicians who care about customer satisfaction. The technician did show on time and after looking at my unit on the roof came down and informed me, I had several issues. These are his words. Completed diagnostic. This unit is in poor condition with major components needing replacement. The motors are leaking oil, refrigerant is low and capacitors are in need of replacement. You also have a problem with the thermostat operation. This unit should be replaced however I can get it up and running if we replace your memory board for the heater, replace your thermostat and add refrigerant. He didn't have the memory board that day and needed to order it and he'd be back in a day or 2 to do that. In the next 20 minutes he replaced the thermostat which was old but still working fine and added 2 lbs of refrigerant which of course was R 22 and he stated was expensive because it's discontinued, and new units use something else. When he finished, I was happy that my air was working again it was hot over 100 that day but floored when I saw the invoice for over $1100. He charged $500 for a thermostat that I saw the next day at Costco for less than $100 and $600 for 2 lbs of refrigerant. I felt ripped off and didn't sleep well that night. I called that company back the next day and cancelled the memory board replacement that was going to cost another $1000. Who needed a heater during summer well its winter now and cold inside our home so I called them back. He told me now the cost has gone up to $1400 and I said no. OMG my wife left for work this morning thinking when she returned it be to a warm and cozy home. I needed to find someone quick and got on Yelp and found Mitch with Coolmax Heating and Air. Mitch was a life saver showed up within an hour. Got up on my roof studied wiring diagrams on the back panel of my unit and tested every circuit inside my unit. I went up there several times because I was worried, he spent almost 2 hours up there. The last time I went up, he was 95% sure it was the memory board but didn't want me to spend the money for one and find out that wasn't the problem. Mitch stood there quietly for a moment and said something doesn't seem right, reached down below to a blue wire and inserted into some circuit and magic happened the blower turned on the furnace fired up and I had heat again. The memory board was fine, Mitch was grinning from ear to ear with the look of joy on his face. He was so happy and said 2 things one this was a brain teaser, and he was happy for me that he was able to resolve the problem. Second that someone went through a lot of planning to deceive us that expensive memory board needed replacement. Thank you so much Mitch, your patience was incredible. If you want the work done right and not feel like someone taking advantage of you call MITCH. Now nice it was to call Mitch say I have a heater issue he came over worked on my heater fixed it and didn't say my unit was too old or any of the other things the original technician wanted to work on. 5 stars and hero status for Mitch.

HIGHLY recommend.Landon was the most professional and knowledgeable out of the 6 companies I received quotes from. He took his time and explained EVERYTHING from installation etc. He also went out of his way to make sure I didnt got without AC before we could get my new unit installed. Jill was also very professional and friendly when setting my appointment and answer any questions I had. Only one little misunderstanding that was quickly resolved. They REALLY went above and beyond and Im very thankful. 😀

Big thanks to Josh for cleaning and inspecting our HVAC units! He did a very thorough job making sure they were well cleaned and working properly. He communicated well any potential issues he saw that may need replaced soon, with pictures. We are very happy with the work he did and will continue to use CoolMax for our hearing and cooling units.

I am very particular when it comes to choosing services as I take my time to decide which company fits my needs both financially and respectfully. I called this company and they sent out Josh. I must say, I got more than expected. I got someone that was professional, respectful and very experienced. He took the time to explain to me what needed to be done and why it needed to be done. This guy took customer service to a whole new level. He is a great look for this company. The following day, he give a follow-up call to make sure my unit was still operating...now that was a first for me. No one has ever followed up for any services I've ever had done on my home. I highly recommend this company and no disrespect to any of their technicians, but please ask for Josh.

My wife and I met Josh Ussery with CoolMax today, after struggling with our AC system for the last few weeks.Josh was friendly, knowledgeable, and super helpful. I gave Josh one heck of an opportunity to (and I HATE this term) up-sell me with a much more expensive unit. He walked me right through why I didn't need that much of an AC system in my home.He opened up my current unit to see if it could be "Saved".. and that meant a lot to us, we did not ask him to do that, and he certainly didn't have to do that.We will get our new system in soon and we will be good to go for the next 20+ years we hope.Josh went over some financing options with no interest, and helped me apply.Great to do business with good people, that still care about something besides selling every thing that they can.Thank You to Josh, and the fine folks at Cool-Max.

This was our first time using this company but I was very impressed with Josh and his knowledge and professionalism. He stayed very late to ensure that our AC system was cleaned, repaired and working properly. He also took the time to inspect our upstairs unit and discussed the issues with it. I received two proposals for options on replacing that unit, etc ...Everything was exactly as he discussed with us during the service call. I will definitely continue using Coolmax Heating & Air. Josh is an asset to this company.

What Blessing to find company that's I Reliable. Josh is by far and away the absolute best professional we have had to diagnose and service our HVAC system. Our main unit is on its last legs and buying a new system is going to be very difficult for us. Josh got it working to hold us over until we can have a new one installed. Out of four other companies, Josh was the only person who even offered to get our unit up and running again. My husband and I are so impressed (and we are not easily impressed). Josh will continue be our go-to for HVAC!

Used CoolMax for a second opinion, was previously told we needed a new attic unit and it would cost around 3 grand. Co-Owner came out and diagnosed the problem, ended up being a fraction of the previously quoted cost. Great honest customer service, will be recommending them to anyone that needs AC work.
